وَ لَوۡ لَا کَلِمَۃٌ سَبَقَتۡ مِنۡ رَّبِّکَ لَکَانَ لِزَامًا وَّ اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّی ﴿۱۲۹﴾ؕ
اگر تیرے رب کی بات پہلے ہی سے مقرر شدہ اور وقت معین کردہ نہ ہوتا تو اسی وقت عذاب آچمٹتا ۔
And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, punishment would have been an obligation [due immediately], and [if not for] a specified term [decreed].
