لِّئَلَّا یَعۡلَمَ اَہۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ اَلَّا یَقۡدِرُوۡنَ عَلٰی شَیۡءٍ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ اَنَّ الۡفَضۡلَ بِیَدِ اللّٰہِ یُؤۡتِیۡہِ مَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ ذُو الۡفَضۡلِ الۡعَظِیۡمِ ﴿٪۲۹﴾ 20
یہ اس لئے کہ اہل کتاب جان لیں کہ اللہ کے فضل کے کسی حصے پر بھی انہیں اختیار نہیں اور یہ کہ ( سارا ) فضل اللہ ہی کے ہاتھ ہے وہ جسے چاہے دے ، اور اللہ ہے ہی بڑے فضل والا ۔
[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah ; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
