سنن ابوداؤد

Laqit bin Sabirah reported that he was the leader of Banul-Muntafiq (name of a tribe). He came to Aishah. He then narrated the tradition in a similar manner. He said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then came shortly with rapid strides inclining forward. The narrator used the word ‘asidah (name of a dish) in this version instead of Khazirah.

بنی منتفق کے وفد میں شریک لقیط بن صبرہ کہتے ہیں کہ

وہ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آئے، پھر راوی نے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث بیان کی، اس میں یہ ہے کہ تھوڑی ہی دیر میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آگے کو جھکتے ہوئے یعنی تیز چال چلتے ہوئے تشریف لائے، اس روایت میں لفظ «خزيرة» کی جگہ «عصيدة» ( ایک قسم کا کھانا ) کا ذکر ہے۔
