Amir Al Shabi said “The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had a special portion in the booty called safi. This would be a slave if he desired or a slave girl if he desired or a horse if he desired. He would choose it before taking out the fifth. ”

عامر شعبی کہتے ہیں کہ

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ایک حصہ تھا، جس کو «صفي» کہا جاتا تھا آپ اگر کوئی غلام، لونڈی یا کوئی گھوڑا لینا چاہتے تو مال غنیمت میں سے خمس سے پہلے لے لیتے۔
