The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Musa from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم through a different chain of narrators up to “and its taste bitter”. Ibn Muadh added: Anas said: We used talk to one another thet a good companion is like. . . He then transmitted the rest of the tradition.

اس سند سے بھی ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے

شروع سے «طعمها مر» ( اس کا مزا کڑوا ہے ) تک اسی طرح مرفوعاً مروی ہے، اور ابن معاذ نے یہ اضافہ کیا ہے کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اور ہم آپس میں کہتے تھے کہ اچھے ہم نشین کی مثال، پھر راوی نے بقیہ حدیث بیان کی۔
