سنن ابوداؤد

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Go out and announce in Madina that prayer is not valid but the recitation of the Quran even though it might be fatihat al-kitab and something more.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا: تم جاؤ اور مدینہ میں اعلان کر دو کہ نماز بغیر قرآن کے نہیں ہوتی، اگرچہ سورۃ فاتحہ اور اس کے ساتھ کچھ اور ہی ہو ۔
