صحیح بخاری

Narrated Haritha bin Wahab: I heard the Prophet saying, O people! Give in charity as a time will come upon you when a person will wander about with his object of charity and will not find anybody to accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, If you had brought it yesterday, would have taken it, but today I am not in need of it.

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سعید بن خالد نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے حارثہ بن وہب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ

میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا تھا کہ صدقہ کرو ‘ ایک ایسا زمانہ بھی تم پر آنے والا ہے جب ایک شخص اپنے مال کا صدقہ لے کر نکلے گا اور کوئی اسے قبول کرنے والا نہیں پائے گا۔
