سنن ابن ماجہ

It was narrated from Anas that : the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah does not bestow a blessing upon any slave and he says: 'Al-hamdu Lillah (praise is to Allah),' except that what he gives (the praise) is better than what he received (the blessing).

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندے پر کوئی نعمت نازل فرماتا ہے، اور وہ «الحمدللہ» کہتا ہے تو اس نے جو دیا وہ اس چیز سے افضل ہے جو اس نے لیا ۱؎۔
