سنن ابن ماجہ

It was narrated that Shaqiq bin Salamah said: I saw `Uthman and `Ali performing ablution, washing each part three times, and they said: 'This is how the Messenger of Allah used to perform ablution.' (Hasan) Another chain with similar wording.

شقیق بن سلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ

میں نے عثمان اور علی رضی اللہ عنہما کو دیکھا کہ وہ اعضاء وضو کو تین تین بار دھوتے تھے، اور کہتے تھے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا وضو ایسا ہی تھا۔
