It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Awfa said:
I saw the Messenger of Allah performing ablution, washing each part three times, and wiping his head once.
عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اعضاء وضو کو تین تین بار دھویا، اور سر کا مسح ایک بار کیا۔
