حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً .

It was narrated that 'Uthman bin 'Affan said: I saw the Messenger of Allah performing ablution and he wiped his head once.

عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا، اور اپنے سر کا ایک مرتبہ مسح کیا۔
