صحیح مسلم

A'isha reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) recited loudly in the eclipse prayer, and he observed four rak'ahs in the form of two rak'ahs and four prostrations. Zuhri said: Kathir b. 'Abbas narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) observed four rak'ahs and four prostrations in two rak'ahs.

عبدالرحمان بن نمر نے خبر دی کہ انھوں نے ابن شہاب سے سنا ، وہ عروہ اور حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے خبر دے رہے تھے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صلاۃ الخسوف ( چاند یاسورج گرہن کی نماز ) میں بلند آوازسے قراءت کی اور دو رکعتوں میں چار رکوع اور چار سجدے کرکے نماز ادا کی ۔
