صحیح مسلم

This hadith has been reported on the authority of Yahya b. Abu Kathir with the same chain of transmitters (with a slight variation of these words): I saw the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) after he had completed (the prayer) and there was a trace of clay on his forehead and tip (of the nose).

معمر اور اوزاعی دونوں نے یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اس ( سابقہ حدیث ) کے ہم معنی روایت کی ۔ اور ان دونوں کی حدیث میں ہے : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے ( فارغ ہو کر ) پلٹے تو میں نے آپ کو اس ھال میں دیکھا کہ آپ کی پیشانی اور ناک کے کنا رے پر مٹی کا نشان تھا ۔
