سنن نسائ

It was narrated from Anas that: when the Messenger of Allah accepted the women's oath of allegiance, he accepted their pledge that they would not wail (over the death). They said: O Messenger of Allah, there are women who helped us to mourn during the Jahiliyyah should we help them to mourn? The Messenger of Allah said: There is no helping to mourn in Islam.

انس رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جس وقت عورتوں سے بیعت لی تو ان سے یہ بھی عہد لیا کہ وہ نوحہ نہیں کریں گی، تو عورتوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کچھ عورتوں نے زمانہ جاہلیت میں ( نوحہ کرنے میں ) ہماری مدد کی ہے، تو کیا ہم ان کی مدد کریں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اسلام میں ( نوحہ پر ) کوئی مدد نہیں ۔
