سنن ابوداؤد

میں بیمار ہوا اور میرے پاس سات بہنیں تھیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس آئے اور میرے چہرے پر پھونک ماری تو مجھے ہوش آ گیا، میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا میں اپنی بہنوں کے لیے ثلث مال کی وصیت نہ کر دوں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: نیکی کرو ، میں نے کہا آدھے مال کی وصیت کر دوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نیکی کرو ، پھر آپ مجھے چھوڑ کر چلے گئے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جابر! میرا خیال ہے تم اس بیماری سے نہیں مرو گے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنا کلام اتارا ہے اور تمہاری بہنوں کا حصہ بیان کر دیا ہے، ان کے لیے دو ثلث مقرر فرمایا ہے ۔ جابر کہا کرتے تھے کہ یہ آیت «يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة» میرے ہی متعلق نازل ہوئی ہے۔

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: I fell ill, and I had seven sisters. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came to me and blew on my face. So I became conscious. I said: Messenger of Allah, may I not bequeath one-third of my property to my sisters? He replied: Do good. I asked: Half? He replied: Do good. He then went out and left me, and said: I do not think, Jabir, you will die of this disease. Allah has revealed (verses) and described the share of your sisters. He appointed two-thirds for them. Jabir used to say: This verse was revealed about me: They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs.

کلالہ کے سلسلے میں آخری آیت جو نازل ہوئی ہے وہ: «يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة» ہے ۱؎۔

Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib: The last verse revealed about the decease who left no descendants or ascendants: They ask thee for the legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs.

ایک شخص نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول!«يستفتونك في الكلالة» میں کلالہ سے کیا مراد ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: آیت «صيف» ۱؎ تمہارے لیے کافی ہے۔ ابوبکر کہتے ہیں: میں نے ابواسحاق سے کہا: کلالہ وہی ہے نا جو نہ اولاد چھوڑے نہ والد؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، لوگوں نے ایسا ہی سمجھا ہے۔

Narrated Al-Bara ibn Azib: A man came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Messenger of Allah, they ask thee for a legal decision about a kalalah. What is meant by kalalah? He replied: The verse revealed in summer is sufficient for you. I asked Abu Ishaq: Does it mean a person who dies and leaves neither children nor father? He said: This is so. The people think it is so.
