سنن ابوداؤد

ہیں کہ ام حبیبہ بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کو استحاضہ ہو گیا تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ وہ اپنے ایام حیض ( کے ختم ہونے ) کا انتظار کریں پھر غسل کریں اور نماز پڑھیں، پھر اگر اس میں سے کچھ ۱؎ انہیں محسوس ہو تو وضو کر لیں اور نماز پڑھیں۔

Narrated Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh: Ikrimah said: Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh had a prolonged flow of blood. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded her to refrain (from prayer) during her menstrual period; then she should wash and pray, if she sees anything (which renders ablution void) she should perform ablution and pray.

وہ مستحاضہ کے لیے ہر نماز کے وقت وضو ضروری نہیں سمجھتے تھے سوائے اس کے کہ اسے خون کے علاوہ کوئی اور حدث لاحق ہو تو وہ وضو کرے گی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہی مالک بن انس کا قول ہے۔

Rabiah said: Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh had a prolonged flow of blood. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commander her to refrain (from prayer) during her menstrual period; then she should wash and pray. If she sees anything (which renders ablution void) she should perform ablution and pray. Abu Dawud said: This is the view held by Malik bin Anas.
