سنن ابوداؤد

جب زید بن حارثہ، جعفر بن ابوطالب اور عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہم قتل کر دئیے گئے ( اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اطلاع ملی ) تو رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد نبوی میں بیٹھ گئے، آپ کے چہرے سے غم ٹپک رہا تھا، اور واقعہ کی تفصیل بتائی۔

Narrated Aishah: When Zaid bin Harithah, Jafar and Abdullah bin Rawahah were killed, the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sat down in the mosque and grief was visible in his face. Then he (the narrator) mentioned the rest of the tradition.
