سنن ابوداؤد

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو قبر پر بیٹھنے ۱؎، اسے پختہ بنانے، اور اس پر عمارت تعمیر کرنے سے منع فرماتے سنا ہے ۲؎۔

Narrated Jabir: I heard the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbid to sit on the grave, to plaster it with gypsum, and to build any structure over it.

ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: عثمان کی روایت میں یہ بھی ہے کہ اس میں کوئی زیادتی کرنے سے ( بھی منع فرماتے تھے ) ۔ سلیمان بن موسیٰ کی روایت میں ہے: یا اس پر کچھ لکھنے سے ۱؎ مسدد نے اپنی روایت میں: «أو يزاد عليه» کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: مسدد کی روایت میں مجھے حرف «وأن» کا پتہ نہ لگا۔

The tradition mentioned above has also been narrated by Jabir through a different chain of transmitters. Abu Dawud said: Uthman said: or anything added to it. Sulaiman bin Musa said: or anything written on it. Musaddad did not mention in his version the words or anything added to it. Abu Dawud said: The word and that (wa an) remained hidden to me.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ یہود کو غارت کرے انہوں نے اپنے نبیوں کی قبروں کو سجدہ گاہ بنا لیا ۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Allah's curse to be on the Jews, they made the graves of their Prophets mosques.
