سنن ابوداؤد

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے سر پر اور اپنے دونوں مونڈھوں کے درمیان سینگی ( پچھنے ) لگواتے اور فرماتے: جو ان جگہوں کا خون نکلوالے تو اسے کسی بیماری کی کوئی دوا نہ کرنے سے کوئی نقصان نہ ہو گا ۔

Narrated Abu Kabshah al-Ansari: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to have himself cupped on the top of his head and between his shoulders, and that he used to say: If anyone pours out any of his blood, he will not suffer if he applies no medical treatment for anything.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گردن کے دونوں پٹھوں میں اور دونوں کندھوں کے بیچ میں تین پچھنے لگوائے۔ ایک بوڑھے کا بیان ہے: میں نے پچھنا لگوائے تو میری عقل جاتی رہی یہاں تک کہ میں نماز میں سورۃ فاتحہ لوگوں کے بتانے سے پڑھتا، بوڑھے نے پچھنا اپنے سر پر لگوایا تھا۔

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had himself cupped three times in the veins at the sides of the neck and on the shoulder. Mamar said: I got myself cupped, and I lost my memory so much so that I was instructed Surat al-Fatihah by others in my prayer. He had himself cupped at the top of his head.
