سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے گھر اور محلہ میں مسجدیں بنانے، انہیں پاک صاف رکھنے اور خوشبو سے بسانے کا حکم دیا ہے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم commanded us to build mosques in different localities (i. e. in the locality of each tribe separately) and that they should be kept clean and be perfumed.

انہوں نے اپنے بیٹے ( سلیمان ) کو لکھا: حمد و صلاۃ کے بعد معلوم ہونا چاہیئے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمیں اپنے گھروں اور محلوں میں مسجدیں بنانے اور انہیں درست اور پاک و صاف رکھنے کا حکم دیتے تھے

Samurah reported that he wrote (a letter) to his sons: After (praising Allah and blessing the Prophet) that: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to command us to build mosques in our localities and keep them well and clean.
