سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح کے سال مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور آپ ایک کالی پگڑی باندھے ہوئے تھے۔

Narrated Jabir: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم entered Makkah in the year of the Conquest while he had a black turben over him.

میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو منبر پر دیکھا، آپ کالی پگڑی باندھے ہوئے تھے جس کا کنارہ آپ نے اپنے کندھوں پر لٹکا رکھا تھا۔

Amr bin Huraith quoting his father said: I saw the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on the pulpit and he wore a black turban, and he let both the ends hang between his shoulders.

رکانہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کشتی لڑی تو آپ نے رکانہ کو پچھاڑ دیا۔ رکانہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ہمارے اور مشرکین کے درمیان فرق ٹوپیوں پر پگڑی باندھنے کا ہے ۔

Narrated Ali ibn Rukanah: Ali quoting his father said: Rukanah wrestled with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم threw him on the ground. Rukanah said: I heard the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: The difference between us and the polytheists is that we wear turbans over caps.

میں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے عمامہ باندھا تو اس کا شملہ میرے آگے اور پیچھے دونوں جانب لٹکایا۔

Narrated Abdur Rahman ibn Awf: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم put a turban on me and let the ends hang in front of him and behind me.
