سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فتح مکہ کے دن خطبہ دیا آپ نے فرمایا: سنو! جاہلیت کے خون یا مال کی جتنی فضیلتیں بھی تھیں جن کا ذکر کیا جاتا تھا یا جن کے دعوے کئے جاتے تھے وہ سب میرے قدموں تلے ہیں، سوائے حاجیوں کو پانی پلانے اور بیت اللہ کی دیکھ ریکھ کے پھر فرمایا: سنو! قتل خطا جو کوڑے یا لاٹھی سے ہوا ہو شبہ عمد ہے، اس کی دیت سو اونٹ ہے، جن میں چالیس اونٹنیاں ایسی ہوں گی جن کے پیٹ میں بچے ہوں گے ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Musaddad's version has: He addressed on the day of Conquest. The agreed version then goes: Beware! Every object of pride of pre-Islamic times, whether it is blood-vengeance or property, mentioned or claimed, has been put under my feet except supply of water to the pilgrims and custody of the House (the Kabah). He then said: Beware! The blood-wit for unintentional murder, such as is done with a whip and stick, is one hundred camels, forty of which are pregnant.

سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث مروی ہے۔
