سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: امام ( مقتدیوں کی نماز کا ) ضامن ۱؎ اور کفیل ہے اور مؤذن امین ہے ۲؎، اے اللہ! تو اماموں کو راہ راست پر رکھ ۳؎ اور مؤذنوں کو بخش دے ۴؎ ۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The imam is responsible and the muadhdhin is trusted, O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muadhdhins.

گذشتہ حدیث کے مثل مرفوع روایت آئی ہے۔

This tradition has also been transmitted through a different chain of narrators by Abu Hurairah who reported it in a similar manner from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
