سنن ابوداؤد

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: مومن اپنی خوش اخلاقی سے روزے دار اور رات کو قیام کرنے والے کا درجہ پا لیتا ہے ۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: By his good character a believer will attain the degree of one who prays during the night and fasts during the day.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ( قیامت کے دن ) میزان میں خوش خلقی سے زیادہ بھاری کوئی چیز نہ ہو گی ۔

Narrated Abud Darda: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: There is nothing heavier than good character put in the scale of a believer on the Day of Resurrection. Abu al-Walid said: I heard Ata al-Kaikharani say: Abu Dawud said: His name is Ata bin Ya'qub. He is the maternal uncle of Ibrahim bin Nafi. He is called Kaikharani or Kukharani.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں اس شخص کے لیے جنت کے اندر ایک گھر کا ضامن ہوں جو لڑائی جھگڑا ترک کر دے، اگرچہ وہ حق پر ہو، اور جنت کے بیچوں بیچ ایک گھر کا اس شخص کے لیے جو جھوٹ بولنا چھوڑ دے اگرچہ وہ ہنسی مذاق ہی میں ہو، اور جنت کی بلندی میں ایک گھر کا اس شخص کے لیے جو خوش خلق ہو ۔

Narrated Abu Umamah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «جواظ» جنت میں نہ داخل ہو گا اور نہ «جعظری»جنت میں داخل ہو گا ۱؎۔ راوی کہتے ہیں «جواظ» کے معنی بدخلق اور سخت دل کے ہیں۔

Harithah bin Wahab reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Neither the Jawwaz nor the Jazari will enter paradise. He said that the Jawwaz is the one who is coarse and uncivil.
