سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بیٹھتے تھے تو اپنے ہاتھ سے احتباء کرتے تھے ۱؎۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: عبداللہ بن ابراہیم ایک ایسے شیخ ہیں جو منکر الحدیث ہیں۔

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sat, he had his knees drawn up supported by his hands. Abu Dawud said: 'And Allah bin Ibrahim was an old man and his traditions were rejected.

انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا، آپ دونوں ہاتھ سے احتباء کرنے والے کی طرح بیٹھے ہوئے تھے تو جب میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بیٹھنے میں «مختشع» اور موسیٰ کی روایت میں ہے «متخشع» ۱؎دیکھا تو میں خوف سے لرز گئی ۲؎۔

Narrated Qaylah daughter of Makhramah: She saw the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sitting with his arms round his legs. She said: When I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم in such humble condition in the sitting position (according to Musa's version), I trembled with fear.
