سنن ابوداؤد

بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اذان دیتے تھے پھر رکے رہتے تھے، پھر جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھ لیتے کہ آپ نکل چکے ہیں تو نماز کی اقامت کہتے تھے۔

Jabir bin Samurah said: Bilal would call the Adhan, then he used come to wait. When he would see that the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had come out (of his house), he would pronounce the iqama.
