سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چھوٹا بڑے کو سلام کرے گا، چلنے والا بیٹھے ہوئے کو، اور تھوڑے لوگ زیادہ لوگوں کو ۔

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: The young should salute the old, the one who is passing by should salute the one who is sitting, and a small company should salute a large one.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سوار پیدل چلنے والے کو سلام کرے گا پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی۔

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: one who is riding should salute one who is walking. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition.
