سنن ابوداؤد

ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ اذاخر ۱؎ کی گھاٹی میں اترے تو نماز کا وقت ہو گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک دیوار کو قبلہ بنا کر اس کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھی اور ہم آپ کے پیچھے تھے، اتنے میں بکری کا ایک بچہ آ کر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے سے گزرنے لگا، تو آپ اسے دفع کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ کا پیٹ دیوار میں چپک گیا، وہ سامنے سے نہ جا سکے، آخر وہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے سے ہو کر چلا گیا، مسدد نے اسی کے ہم معنی حدیث ذکر کی۔

Amr bin Shuaib reported from his father on the authority of his grand-father: We came down from the mountain pass of Adhaakhir in the company of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. The time of prayer came and he prayed facing a direction of prayer, and we were (standing) behind him. Then a kid came and passed in front of him. He kept on stopping it until he brought his stomach near the wall (to detain it), and at last it passed behind him, or as Musaddad said.

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ ایک بکری کا بچہ آپ کے سامنے سے گزرنے لگا، تو آپ اسے دور کرنے لگے۔

Ibn Abbas said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was (once) praying. A kid went passing in front of him and he kept on stopping it.

میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے اور قبلہ کے بیچ میں ہوتی تھی، شعبہ کہتے ہیں: میرا خیال ہے کہ انہوں نے یہ بھی کہا: اور میں حائضہ ہوتی تھی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے زہری، عطاء، ابوبکر بن حفص، ہشام بن عروہ، عراک بن مالک، ابواسود اور تمیم بن سلمہ سبھوں نے عروہ سے، عروہ نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت کیا ہے، اور ابراہیم نے اسود سے، اسود نے عائشہ سے، اور ابوالضحیٰ نے مسروق سے، مسروق نے عائشہ سے، اور قاسم بن محمد اور ابوسلمہ نے عائشہ سے روایت کیا ہے، البتہ ان لوگوں نے «وأنا حائض» اور میں حائضہ ہوتی تھی کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: I was sleeping in front of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم with my legs between him and the qiblah. Shubah said: I think she said: I was menstruating. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated by al-Zuhri, Ata, Abu Bakr bin Hafs, Hisham bin Urwah, 'Irak bin Malik, Abu al-Aswad and Tamim bin Salamah; all transmitted from Urwah on the authority of Aishah. Ibrahim narrated from al-Aswad on the authority of Aishah. Abu al-Duha narrated from Masruq on the authority of Aishah. Al-Qasim bin Muhammad and Abu Salamah narrated it from 'Aishah. All these narrators did not mention the words And I was menstruating.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی رات کی نماز پڑھتے اور وہ آپ کے اور قبلے کے بیچ میں اس بچھونے پر لیٹی رہتیں جس پر آپ سوتے تھے، یہاں تک کہ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وتر پڑھنے کا ارادہ کرتے تو انہیں جگاتے تو وہ بھی وتر پڑھتیں۔

Urwah reported on the authority of Aishah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to pray at night and she (Aishah) would lie between him and the qiblah, sleeping on the bed on which he would sleep. When he wanted to offer the witr prayer, he awakened her and she offered the witr prayer.

تم لوگوں نے بہت برا کیا کہ ہم عورتوں کو گدھے اور کتے کے برابر ٹھہرا دیا، حالانکہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا ہے کہ آپ نماز پڑھتے تھے اور میں آپ کے سامنے عرض میں لیٹی رہتی تھی، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ کرنے کا ارادہ کرتے تو میرا پاؤں دبا دیتے، میں اسے سمیٹ لیتی پھر آپ سجدہ کرتے۔

Aishah said: I used to sleep with my legs in front of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم when he would offer his prayer at night (i. e. tahajjud prayer offered towards the end of the night. ). When he prostrated himself he struck my legs, and I drew them up and he then prostrated.

میں سوئی رہتی تھی، میرے دونوں پاؤں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے ہوتے اور آپ رات میں نماز پڑھ رہے ہوتے، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ کرنا چاہتے تو میرے دونوں پاؤں کو مارتے تو میں انہیں سمیٹ لیتی پھر آپ سجدہ کرتے۔

It was reported from Abu An-Nadr, from Abu Salama bin Abdur Rahman, from Aishah, that she said: I used to be asleep while my legs would be in the front of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم while he was praying during the night. When he wanted to prostrate, he would prod my feet, so I would pull them up, and he would prostrate.

میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سمت میں لیٹی رہتی، آپ نماز پڑھتے اور میں آپ کے آگے ہوتی، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وتر پڑھنا چاہتے ( عثمان کی روایت میں یہ اضافہ ہے: تو آپ مجھے اشارہ کرتے ، پھر عثمان اور قعنبی دونوں روایت میں متفق ہیں ) تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے: سرک جاؤ ۔

Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: I used to sleep lying between the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and the qiblah. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to pray when I (was lying) in front of him. When he wanted to offer the witr prayer - added by the narrator Uthman - he pinched me - then the narrators are agreed - and said: Set aside.
