سنن ابوداؤد

ہم نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا: دونوں سجدوں کے بیچ میں دونوں قدموں پر اقعاء ۱؎ ( سرین کو ایڑیوں پر رکھ کر پنجے کو کھڑا کر کے بیٹھنا ) کیسا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: یہ سنت ہے۔ طاؤس کہتے ہیں: ہم نے کہا: ہم تو اسے آدمی کے ساتھ زیادتی سمجھتے تھے تو ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا: یہ تیرے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت ہے۔

Tawus said: we asked Ibn Abbas about sitting on heels between the two prostrations. He said: It is the sunnah. We said: We look upon it as a pressure on the foot. He said: This is the sunnah of your Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہنے کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے: «اللهم ربنا لك الحمد ملء السماء» اور مومل کے الفاظ «ملء السموات وملء الأرض وملء ما شئت من شىء بعد أهل الثناء والمجد أحق ما قال العبد وكلنا لك عبد لا مانع لما أعطيت» ، محمود نے اپنی روایت میں: «ولا معطي لما منعت» کا اضافہ کیا ہے، پھر:«ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد» میں سب متفق ہیں، بشر نے اپنی روایت میں: «ربنا لك الحمد» کہا «اللهم» نہیں کہا، اور محمود نے«اللهم» نہیں کہا، اور «ربنا لك الحمد» کہا۔

Abu Saeed Al-Khuri said: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: “ Allah listens to him who praises Him, ” he also said: O Allah, our Lord, to thee be the praise in all heavens. Mu’ammil said ( in his version); “ In all the heavens, and in all the earth, and in all that it pleases Thee to create afterwards. O thou Who art worthy of praise and glory, most worthy of what a servant says, and we are all thy servants, no one can withhold what thou givest or give what Thou withholdest. “The narrators then were agreed on the words: “And riches cannot avail a wealthy person with Thee. ”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب امام «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہے تو تم «اللهم ربنا لك الحمد» کہو، کیونکہ جس کا قول فرشتوں کے قول کے موافق ہو جائے گا اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دیئے جائیں گے ۔

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: When the Imam says: “Allah listens to him who praised Him, ” say: “O Allah, our lord, to Thee be the praise, “ for if what anyone says synchronises with what the angels say, he will be forgiven his past sins.

: لوگ امام کے پیچھے: «سمع الله لمن حمده» نہ کہیں، بلکہ «ربنا لك الحمد» کہیں ۱؎۔

Amir said: The people behind the imam should not say: “Allah listens to him who praises Him. ” But they should say: “ Our Lord, to Thee be the praise. ”
