سنن ابوداؤد

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنوں والی رات میں مجھ سے پوچھا: تمہاری چھاگل میں کیا ہے؟ ، میں نے کہا: نبیذ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ پاک کھجور اور پاک پانی ہے ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Masud: Abu Zayd quoted Abdullah ibn Masud as saying that on the night when the jinn listened to the Quran the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: What is in your skin vessel? He said: I have some nabidh. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It consists of fresh dates and pure water. Sulayman ibn Dawud reported the same version of this tradition on the authority of Abu Zayd or Zayd. But Sharik said that Hammad did not mention the words night of the jinn .

میں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: «ليلة الجن» ( جنوں والی رات ) میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ آپ لوگوں میں سے کون تھا؟ انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ہم میں سے کوئی نہ تھا ۱؎۔

Narrated Alqamah: I asked Abd Allaah b Masud: Which of you was in the company of the Messenger of Allaah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on the night when the jinn attended him? He replied: None of us was with him

وہ دودھ اور نبیذ سے وضو کرنے کو مکروہ سمجھتے تھے اور کہتے تھے: اس سے تو مجھے تیمم ہی زیادہ پسند ہے۔

It is reported that Ata did not approve of performing ablution with milk and nabidh and said: tayammum is more my liking (than performing ablution with milk and nabidh).

میں نے ابوالعالیہ سے اس شخص کے متعلق پوچھا جسے جنابت لاحق ہوئی ہو اور اس کے پاس پانی نہ ہو، بلکہ نبیذ ہو تو کیا وہ اس سے غسل کر سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے کہا: نہیں۔

Narrated Abu Khaldah: I asked Abul-Aliyah whether a person who is sexually defiled and has no water with him, but he has only nabidh, can wash with it? He replied in the negative.
