سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عید گاہ کی طرف بارش طلب کرنے کی غرض سے نکلے، جب آپ نے دعا کرنے کا ارادہ کیا تو قبلہ رخ ہوئے پھر اپنی چادر پلٹی۔

Abdullah bin Zaid said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh)went out to the place of prayer to pray for rain. When he wanted to make supplication, he faced the qiblah and turned around his cloak.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عید گاہ کی طرف نکلے، اور ( اللہ تعالیٰ سے ) بارش طلب کی، اور جس وقت قبلہ رخ ہوئے، اپنی چادر پلٹی۔

Narrated Umayr, the client of AbulLahm: Umayr saw the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم praying for rain at Ahjar az-Zayt near az-Zawra', standing, making supplication, praying for rain and raising his hands in front of his face, but not lifting them above his head.
