سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو قرآن مجید میں ( ۱۵ ) سجدے ۱؎ پڑھائے: ان میں سے تین مفصل میں ۲؎ اور دو سورۃ الحج میں ۳؎۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابوالدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے گیارہ سجدے نقل کئے ہیں، لیکن اس کی سند کمزور ہے۔

Narrated Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم taught me fifteen prostrations while reciting the Quran, including three in al-Mufassal and two in Surah al-Hajj. Abu Dawud said: Abu al-Darda has reported eleven prostrations from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, but chain of this tradition is weak.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا سورۃ الحج میں دو سجدے ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں اور جو یہ دونوں سجدے نہ کرے وہ انہیں نہ پڑھے ۔

Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir: I said to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: Are there two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj? He replied: Yes; if anyone does not make two prostrations, he should not recite them.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سورۃ النجم پڑھ کر سنائی تو آپ نے اس میں سجدہ نہیں کیا۔

Narrated Zaid bin Thabit: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم did not make prostration at any verse in al-Mufassal from the time he moved to Madina.

زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ سے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث مرفوعاً آئی ہے۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: زید امام تھے لیکن انہوں نے اس میں سجدہ نہیں کیا۔

This tradition has also been transmitted by Zaid bin Thabit through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. Abu Dawud said: Zaid was imam (in a prayer) and he did not make prostration.
