سنن ابوداؤد

ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سورۃ «إذا السماء انشقت» اور «‏‏‏‏اقرأ باسم ربك الذي خلق» میں سجدہ کیا۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: ابوہریرہ چھ ہجری میں غزوہ خیبر کے سال اسلام لائے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے یہ سجدے آپ کے آخری فعل ہیں۔

Narrated Abu Hurairah: We prostrated ourselves along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on account of: When the sky is rent asunder and Recite in the name of Your Lord Who created

میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ عشاء پڑھی، آپ نے «إذا السماء انشقت» کی تلاوت کی اور سجدہ کیا، میں نے کہا: یہ سجدہ کیسا ہے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا: میں نے یہ سجدہ ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے ( نماز پڑھتے ہوئے ) کیا ہے اور میں برابر اسے کرتا رہوں گا یہاں تک کہ آپ سے جا ملوں۔

Narrated Abu Rafi: I offered the night prayer behind Abu Hurairah. He recited Surah Inshiqaq ( When the sky is rent asunder ) and prostrated himself. I asked him: What is this prostration ? He replied: I prostrated myself on account of this (surah) behind Abu al-Qasim (i. e. the Prophet). I shall continue prostrating on account of this till I meet him.
