رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب وتر میں سلام پھیرتے تو «سبحان الملك القدوس» کہتے۔

Narrated Ubayy ibn Kab: When the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم offered salutation in the witr prayer, he said: Glorify be to the king most holy.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص وتر پڑھے بغیر سو جائے یا اسے پڑھنا بھول جائے تو جب بھی یاد آ جائے اسے پڑھ لے ۱؎ ۔

Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If anyone oversleeps and misses the witr, or forgets it, he should pray when he remembers.
