سنن ابوداؤد

ہم عمر بن عبدالعزیز کے پاس تھے تو عورتوں سے نکاح متعہ ۱؎ کا ذکر ہم میں چل پڑا، تو ان میں سے ایک آدمی نے جس کا نام ربیعہ بن سبرہ تھا کہا: میں اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میرے والد نے بیان کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر متعہ سے منع کر دیا ہے ۲؎۔

Al Zuhri said “we were with Umar bin Abd Al Aziz, there we discussed temporary marriage. A man called Rabi bin Saburah said “I bear witness that my father told me that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had prohibited it at the Farewell Pilgrimage. ”

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عورتوں سے نکاح متعہ کو حرام قرار دیا ہے۔

Ibn Umar said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited shighar marriage. Musaddad added in his version “I said to Nafi “What is shighar?” (It means that) a man marries the daughter of another man and gives his own daughter to him in marriage without fixing dower; and a man marries the sister of another man and gives him his sister in marriage without fixing dower.
