سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کسی کو نماز میں ہوا خارج ہو جائے تو وہ نماز چھوڑ کر چلا جائے، پھر وضو کرے، اور نماز کا اعادہ کرے ۔

Narrated Ali ibn Talq: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When any of you breaks wind during the prayer, he should turn away and perform ablution and repeat the prayer.

Ali said: My prostatic fluid flowed excessively. I used to take a bath until my back cracked (because of frequent washing). I mentioned it to the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, or the fact was mentioned to him (by someone else). The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said; Do not do so. When you find prostatic fluid, wash your penis and perform ablution as you do for your prayer, but when you have seminal emission, you should take a bath.

علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ( اپنے لیے ) یہ مسئلہ پوچھنے کا حکم دیا کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس جائے اور مذی نکل آئے تو کیا کرے؟ ( انہوں نے کہا ) چونکہ میرے نکاح میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صاحبزادی ( فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا ) ہیں، اس لیے مجھے آپ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھنے میں شرم آتی ہے۔ مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں نے جا کر پوچھا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی اسے پائے تو اپنی شرمگاہ کو دھو ڈالے اور وضو کرے جیسے نماز کے لیے وضو کرتا ہے ۔

Narrated Al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad: Ali ibn Abu Talib commanded him to ask the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم what a man should do when he wants to have intercourse with his wife and the prostatic fluid comes out (at this moment). (He said): I am ashamed of consulting him because of the position of his daughter. Al-Miqdad said: I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about it. He said: When any of you finds, he should wash his private part, and perform ablution as he does for prayer.

علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا، پھر راوی نے آگے اسی طرح کی روایت ذکر کی، اس میں ہے کہ مقداد نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے دریافت کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: چاہیئے کہ وہ شرمگاہ ( عضو مخصوص ) اور فوطوں کو دھو ڈالے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے ثوری اور ایک جماعت نے ہشام سے، ہشام نے اپنے والد عروہ سے، عروہ نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے، مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ نے علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے، اور علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مرفوعاً روایت کیا ہے۔

Urwah said: Ali b abi Talib said to al-miqdad, and made a similar statement as above. Al-Miqdad asked him (the prophet). The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: he should wash his penis and testicles. Abu Dawud said: The tradition has been narrators by al-Thawri and a group of narrators from Hisham on the authority of his father from al-Miqdad, from Ali reporting from the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.

میں نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا، پھر راوی نے اسی مفہوم کی حدیث ذکر کی۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اور اسے مفضل بن فضالہ، ایک جماعت، ثوری اور ابن عیینہ نے ہشام سے، ہشام نے اپنے والد عروہ سے، عروہ نے علی بن ابی طالب سے روایت کیا ہے، نیز اسے ابن اسحاق نے ہشام بن عروہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد عروہ سے، عروہ نے مقداد رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور مقداد نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کیا ہے، مگر اس میں لفظ «أنثييه» دونوں فوطوں کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔

Urwah reported on the Authority of his father a tradition from Ali bin Abi Talib who said: I Asked al-Miqdad (to consult the prophet). He then narrated the tradition bearing the same meaning. Abu Dawud said; this tradition has been reported with another chain of narrators. This version does not mention the word “testicles”.

مجھے مذی سے بڑی تکلیف ہوتی تھی، باربار غسل کرتا تھا، لہٰذا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: اس میں صرف وضو کافی ہے ، میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کپڑے میں جو لگ جائے اس کا کیا ہو گا؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ایک چلو پانی لے کر کپڑے پر جہاں تم سمجھو کہ مذی لگ گئی ہے چھڑک لو ۔

Narrated Sahl ibn Hunayf: I felt greatly distressed by the frequent flowing of prostatic fluid. For this reason I used to take a bath very often. I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about this. He replied: Ablution will be sufficient for you because of this. I asked: Messenger of Allah, what should I do if it smears my clothes. He replied: It is sufficient if you take a handful of water and sprinkle it on your clothe when you find it has smeared it.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس چیز کے بارے میں پوچھا جو غسل کو واجب کرتی ہے، اور اس پانی کے بارے میں پوچھا جو غسل کے بعد عضو مخصوص سے نکل آئے، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہی مذی ہے، اور ہر مرد کو مذی نکلتی ہے، لہٰذا تم اپنی شرمگاہ اور اپنے دونوں فوطوں کو دھو ڈالو، اور وضو کرو جیسے نماز کے لیے وضو کرتے ہو ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Saad al-Ansari: I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as to what makes it necessary to take a bath and about the (prostatic) fluid that flows after taking a bath. He replied: that is called madhi (prostatic fluid). It flows from every male. You should wash your private parts and testicles because of it and perform ablution as you do for prayer.

انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: جب میری بیوی حائضہ ہو تو اس کی کیا چیز میرے لیے حلال ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہارے لیے لنگی ( تہبند ) کے اوپر والے حصہ ( سے لطف اندوز ہونا ) درست ہے ، نیز اس کے ساتھ حائضہ کے ساتھ کھانے کھلانے کا بھی ذکر کیا، پھر راوی نے ( سابقہ ) پوری حدیث بیان کی۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Saad al-Ansari: Abdullah asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: What is lawful for me to do with my wife when she is menstruating? He replied: What is above the waist-wrapper is lawful for you. The narrator also mentioned (the lawfulness of) eating with a woman in menstruation, and he transmitted the tradition in full.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: مرد کے لیے اس کی حائضہ بیوی کی کیا چیز حلال ہے؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: لنگی ( تہبند ) کے اوپر کا حصہ ( اس سے لطف اندوز ہونا ) جائز ہے، لیکن اس سے بھی بچنا افضل ہے ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ حدیث قوی نہیں ہے۔

Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: What is lawful for a man to do with his wife when she is menstruating? He replied: What is above the waist-wrapper, but it is better to abstain from it, too. Abu Dawud said: This (tradition) is not strong.
