سنن ابوداؤد

نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا: کون سا مومن سب سے زیادہ کامل ایمان والا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ شخص جو اللہ کے راستے میں اپنی جان اور مال سے جہاد کرے، نیز وہ شخص جو کسی پہاڑ کی گھاٹی ۱؎ میں اللہ کی عبادت کرتا ہو، اور لوگ اس کے شر سے محفوظ ہوں ۔

Abu Saeed (Al Khudri) reported The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was asked “Which believers are most perfect in respect of faith? He replied “A man who strives in the path of Allaah with his life and property and a man who worships Allaah in a mountain valley where he protects the people from his evil. ””
