سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: سمندر کا سفر نہ کرے مگر حج کرنے والا، یا عمرہ کرنے والا، یا اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنے والا کیونکہ سمندر کے نیچے آگ ہے اور اس آگ کے نیچے سمندر ہے ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: No one should sail on the sea except the one who is going to perform hajj or Umrah, or the one who is fighting in Allah's path for under the sea there is a fire, and under the fire there is a sea.
