سنن ابوداؤد

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جو شخص اللہ کی راہ میں نکلا پھر وہ مر گیا، یا مار ڈالا گیا تو وہ شہید ہے، یا اس کے گھوڑے یا اونٹ نے اسے روند دیا، یا کسی سانپ اور بچھو نے ڈنک مار دیا، یا اپنے بستر پہ، یا موت کے کسی بھی سبب سے جسے اللہ نے چاہا مر گیا، تو وہ شہید ہے، اور اس کے لیے جنت ہے ۔

Narrated Abu Malik al-Ashari: Abu Malik heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: He who goes forth in Allah's path and dies or is killed is a martyr, or has his neck broken through being thrown by his horse or by his camel, or is stung by a poisonous creature, or dies on his bed by any kind of death Allah wishes is a martyr and will go to Paradise.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہر میت کا عمل مرنے کے بعد ختم کر دیا جاتا ہے، سوائے سرحد کی پاسبانی اور حفاظت کرنے والے کے، اس کا عمل اس کے لیے قیامت تک بڑھتا رہے گا اور قبر کے فتنہ سے وہ مامون کر دیا جائے گا ۔

Narrated Fadalah ibn Ubayd: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Everyone who dies will have fully complete his action, except one who is on the frontier (in Allah's path), for his deeds will be made to go on increasing till the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the trial in the grave.
