سنن ابوداؤد

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنے والے کے لیے سامان جہاد فراہم کیا اس نے جہاد کیا اور جس نے مجاہد کے اہل و عیال کی اچھی طرح خبرگیری کی اس نے جہاد کیا ۔

Zaid bin Khalid al Juhani reported that Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying “He who equips a fighter in Allaah’s path has taken part in the fighting. And he looks after a fighter’s family when he is away has taken part in the fighting. ”

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بنو لحیان کی طرف ایک لشکر بھیجا اور فرمایا: ہر دو آدمی میں سے ایک آدمی نکل کھڑا ہو ، اور پھر خانہ نشینوں سے فرمایا: تم میں جو کوئی مجاہد کے اہل و عیال اور مال کی اچھی طرح خبرگیری کرے گا تو اسے جہاد کے لیے نکلنے والے کا نصف ثواب ملے گا ۔

Abu Saeed Al Khudri said “The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sent an expedition towards Banu Lihyan and said “One of the two persons should go forth. He then said to those who sat (at home), If any one of you looks after the family and property of a warrior, he will receive half the reward of the one who goes forth (in jihad). ”
