صحیح بخاری

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں چاند دو ٹکڑے ہو گیا تھا ایک ٹکڑا پہاڑ کے اوپر اور دوسرا اس کے پیچھے چلا گیا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسی موقع پر ہم سے فرمایا تھا کہ گواہ رہنا۔

Narrated Ibn Masud: During the lifetime of Allah's Messenger the moon was split into two parts; one part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain. On that, Allah's Messenger said, Witness this miracle.

چاند پھٹ گیا تھا اور اس وقت ہم بھی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے۔ چنانچہ اس کے دو ٹکڑے ہو گئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا کہ لوگو گواہ رہنا، گواہ رہنا۔

Narrated `Abdullah: The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, Witness, witness (this miracle).

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں چاند پھٹ گیا تھا۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The moon was cleft asunder during the lifetime of the Prophet.

مکہ والوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے معجزہ دکھانے کو کہا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں چاند کے پھٹ جانے کا معجزہ دکھایا۔

Narrated Anas: The people of Mecca asked the Prophet to show them a sign (miracle). So he showed them (the miracle) of the cleaving of the moon.

چاند دو ٹکڑوں میں پھٹ گیا تھا۔
