ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جس نے بیت اللہ کا طواف عمرہ کے لیے کیا لیکن صفا اور مروہ کی سعی نہیں کی، کیا ایسا شخص ( بیت اللہ کے طواف کے بعد ) اپنی بیوی سے صحبت کر سکتا ہے؟ آپ نے جواب دیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے آپ نے سات مرتبہ بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا اور مقام ابراہیم کے پاس دو رکعت نماز پڑھی، پھر صفا اور مردہ کی سعی کی اور تمہارے لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زندگی بہترین نمونہ ہے۔“ ( الاحزاب: 21 )

Narrated `Amr bin Dinar: I asked Ibn `Umar, Can a person who has performed the Tawaf around the Ka`ba for `Umra but has not performed the (Sa`i) Tawaf of Safa and Marwa, have a sexual relation with his wife? Ibn `Umar replied When the Prophet reached Mecca he performed the Tawaf around the Ka`ba (circumambulated it seven times) and offered a two-rak`at prayer (at the place) behind the station (of Abraham) and then performed the Tawaf (Sa`i) of Safa and Marwa, and verily in Allah's Apostle you have a good example.

بھی یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو آپ نے بھی یہی فرمایا کہ وہ بیوی کے قریب بھی اس وقت تک نہ جائے جب تک صفا اور مروہ کی سعی نہ کر لے۔

Then we put the same question to Jabir bin `Abdullah and he too replied, He should not go near his wife (for sexual relation) till he has finished the Tawaf of Safa and Marwa.

ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی خدمت میں ایک آدمی آیا اور کہنے لگا، اے لو یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آن پہنچے اور آپ کعبہ کے اندر داخل ہو گئے۔ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ میں جب آیا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کعبہ سے نکل چکے تھے، میں نے دیکھا کہ بلال دونوں دروازوں کے سامنے کھڑے ہیں۔ میں نے بلال سے پوچھا کہ کیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کعبہ کے اندر نماز پڑھی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں! دو رکعت ان دو ستونوں کے درمیان پڑھی تھیں، جو کعبہ میں داخل ہوتے وقت بائیں طرف واقع ہیں۔ پھر جب باہر تشریف لائے تو کعبہ کے سامنے دو رکعت نماز ادا فرمائی۔

Narrated Mujahid: Someone came to Ibn `Umar and said, Here is Allah's Apostle entering the Ka`ba. Ibn `Umar said, I went there but the Prophet had come out of the Ka`ba and I found Bilal standing between its two doors. I asked Bilal, 'Did the Prophet pray in the Ka`ba?' Bilal replied, 'Yes, he prayed two rak`at between the two pillars which are to your left on entering the Ka`ba. Then Allah's Apostle came out and offered a two-rak`at prayer facing the Ka`ba.'

جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کعبہ کے اندر تشریف لے گئے تو اس کے چاروں کونوں میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا کی اور نماز نہیں پڑھی۔ پھر جب باہر تشریف لائے تو دو رکعت نماز کعبہ کے سامنے پڑھی اور فرمایا کہ یہی قبلہ ہے۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: When the Prophet entered the Ka`ba, he invoked Allah in each and every side of it and did not pray till he came out of it, and offered a two-rak`at prayer facing the Ka`ba and said, This is the Qibla.
