معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہما سے حج کے سال میں سنا وہ مدینہ منورہ میں منبر پر یہ فرما رہے تھے انہوں نے بالوں کی ایک چوٹی جو ان کے چوکیدار کے ہاتھ میں تھی لے کر کہا کہاں ہیں تمہارے علماء میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے آپ اس طرح بال بنانے سے منع فرما رہے تھے اور فرما رہے تھے کہ بنی اسرائیل اس وقت تباہ ہو گئے جب ان کی عورتوں نے اس طرح اپنے بال سنوارنے شروع کر دیئے۔

Narrated Humaid bin `Abdur-Rahman bin `Auf: that in the year he performed Hajj. he heard Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan, who was on the pulpit and was taking a tuft of hair from one of his guards, saying, Where are your religious learned men? I heard Allah's Apostle forbidding this (false hair) and saying, 'The children of Israel were destroyed when their women started using this.'

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”سر کے قدرتی بالوں میں مصنوعی بال لگانے والیوں پر اور لگوانے والیوں پر اور گودنے والیوں پر اور گدوانے والیوں پر اللہ نے لعنت بھیجی ہے۔“

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, Allah has cursed the lady who artificially lengthens (her or someone else's) hair and the one who gets her hair lengthened and the One who tattoos (herself or someone else) and the one who gets herself tattooed

انصار کی ایک لڑکی نے شادی کی۔ اس کے بعد وہ بیمار ہو گئی اور اس کے سر کے بال جھڑ گئے، اس کے گھر والوں نے چاہا کہ اس کے بالوں میں مصنوعی بال لگا دیں۔ اس لیے انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے مصنوعی بال جوڑنے والی اور جڑوانے والی دونوں پر لعنت بھیجی ہے۔ شعبہ کے ساتھ اس حدیث کو محمد بن اسحاق نے بھی ابان بن صالح سے، انہوں نے حسن بن مسلم سے، انہوں نے صفیہ سے، انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت کی ہے۔

Narrated `Aisha: An Ansari girl was married and she became sick and all her hair fell out intending to provide her with false hair. They asked the Prophet who said, Allah has cursed the lady who artificially lengthens (her or someone else's) hair and also the one who gets her hair lengthened.

ایک خاتون نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور کہا کہ میں نے اپنی لڑکی کی شادی کی ہے اس کے بعد وہ بیمار ہو گئی اور اس کے سر کے بال جھڑ گئے اور اس کا شوہر مجھ پر اس کے معاملہ میں زور دیتا ہے۔ کیا میں اس کے سر میں مصنوعی بال لگا دوں؟ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مصنوعی بال جوڑنے والیوں اور جڑوانے والیوں کو برا کہا، ان پر لعنت بھیجی۔

Narrated Asma: (the daughter of Abu' Bakr) A woman came to Allah's Apostle and said, I married my daughter to someone, but she became sick and all her hair fell out, and (because of that) her husband does not like her. May I let her use false hair? On that the Prophet cursed such a lady as artificially lengthening (her or someone else's) hair or got her hair lengthened artificially.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مصنوعی بال لگانے والی اور لگوانے والی پر لعنت بھیجی ہے۔

Narrated Asma': (the daughter of Abu Bakr) Allah's Apostle has cursed such a lady as artificially lengthening (her or someone else's) hair or gets her hair lengthened.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ نے مصنوعی بال جوڑنے والیوں پر، جڑوانے والیوں پر، گودنے والیوں پر اور گدوانے والیوں پر لعنت بھیجی ہے۔“ نافع نے کہا کہ گودنا کبھی مسوڑے پر بھی گودا جاتا ہے۔

Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Apostle said, Allah has cursed such a lady as lengthens (her or someone else's) hair artificially or gets it lengthened, and also a lady who tattoos (herself or someone else) or gets herself tattooed.

معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ آخری مرتبہ مدینہ منورہ تشریف لائے اور ہمیں خطبہ دیا۔ آپ نے بالوں کا ایک گچھا نکال کے کہا کہ یہ یہودیوں کے سوا اور کوئی نہیں کرتا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے «زور‏.‏» یعنی فریبی فرمایا یعنی جو بالوں میں جوڑ لگائے تو ایسا آدمی مرد ہو یا عورت وہ مکار ہے جو اپنے مکر و فریب پر اس طور پر پردہ ڈالتا ہے۔

Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab: Mu'awiya came to Medina for the last time and delivered a sermon. He took out a tuft of hair and said, I thought that none used to do this (i.e. use false hair) except Jews. The Prophet labelled such practice, (i.e. the use of false hair), as cheating.
