رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے احزاب کے لیے بددعا کی «اللهم منزل الكتاب،‏‏‏‏ سريع الحساب،‏‏‏‏ اهزم الأحزاب،‏‏‏‏ اهزمهم وزلزلهم» ”اے اللہ! کتاب کے نازل کرنے والے! حساب جلدی لینے والے! احزاب کو ( مشرکین کی جماعتوں کو، غزوہ احزاب میں ) شکست دے، انہیں شکست دیدے اور انہیں جھنجوڑ دے۔“

Narrated Ibn Abi `Aufa: Allah's Apostle asked for Allah's wrath upon the Ahzab (confederates), saying, O Allah, the Revealer of the Holy Book, and the One swift at reckoning! Defeat the confederates; Defeat them and shake them.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب عشاء کی آخر رکعت میں ( رکوع سے اٹھتے ہوئے ) «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہتے تھے تو دعائے قنوت پڑھتے تھے «اللهم أنج عياش بن أبي ربيعة،‏‏‏‏ اللهم أنج الوليد بن الوليد،‏‏‏‏ اللهم أنج سلمة بن هشام،‏‏‏‏ اللهم أنج المستضعفين من المؤمنين،‏‏‏‏ اللهم اشدد وطأتك على مضر،‏‏‏‏ اللهم اجعلها سنين كسني يوسف» ”اے اللہ! عیاش بن ابی ربیعہ کو نجات دے، اے اللہ! ولید بن ولید کو نجات دے، اے اللہ! سلمہ بن ہشام کو نجات دے، اے اللہ! کمزور ناتواں مومنوں کو نجات دے، اے اللہ! اے اللہ! قبیلہ مضر پر اپنی پکڑ کو سخت کر دے، اے اللہ! وہاں ایسا قحط پیدا کر دے جیسا یوسف علیہ السلام کے زمانہ میں ہوا تھا۔“

Narrated Abu Huraira: When the Prophet said, Sami' al-lahu liman hamidah (Allah heard him who sent his praises to Him) in the last rak`a of the `Isha' prayer, he used to invoke Allah, saying, O Allah! Save `Aiyash bin Abi Rabi`a; O Allah! Save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid; O Allah! Save the weak people among the believers; O Allah! Be hard on the Tribe of Mudar; O Allah! Inflict years of drought upon them like the years (of drought) of the Prophet Joseph.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک مہم بھیجی، جس میں شریک لوگوں کو قراء ( یعنی قرآن مجید کے قاری ) کہا جاتا تھا۔ ان سب کو شہید کر دیا گیا۔ میں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کبھی کسی چیز کا اتنا غم ہوا ہو جتنا آپ کو ان کی شہادت کا غم ہوا تھا۔ چنانچہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک مہینے تک فجر کی نماز میں ان کے لیے بددعا کی، آپ کہتے کہ عصیہ نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی۔

Narrated Anas: The Prophet sent a Sariya (an army detachment) consisting of men called Al-Qurra', and all of them were martyred. I had never seen the Prophet so sad over anything as he was over them. So he said Qunut (invocation in the prayer) for one month in the Fajr prayer, invoking for Allah's wrath upon the tribe of 'Usaiya, and he used to say, The people of 'Usaiya have disobeyed Allah and His Apostle.

یہود نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سلام کرتے تو کہتے «السام عليك‏.‏» آپ کو موت آئے۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا ان کا مقصد سمجھ گئیں اور جواب دیا کہ «عليكم السام واللعنة‏.‏» تمہیں موت آئے اور تم پر لعنت ہو۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ٹھہرو عائشہ! اللہ تمام امور میں نرمی کو پسند کرتا ہے۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے نبی! کیا آپ نے نہیں سنا یہ لوگ کیا کہتے ہیں؟ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم نے نہیں سنا کہ میں انہیں کس طرح جواب دیتا ہوں۔ میں کہتا ہوں «وعليكم» ۔

Narrated `Aisha: The Jews used to greet the Prophet by saying, As-Samu 'Alaika (i.e., death be upon you), so I understood what they said, and I said to them, As-Samu 'alaikum wal-la'na (i.e. Death and Allah's Curse be upon you). The Prophet said, Be gentle and calm, O `Aisha, as Allah likes gentleness in all affairs. I said, O Allah's Prophet! Didn't you hear what they said? He said, Didn't you hear me answering them back by saying, 'Alaikum (i.e., the same be upon you)?

غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اللہ ان کی قبروں اور ان کے گھروں کو آگ سے بھر دے۔ انہوں نے ہمیں «صلاة الوسطى» ( عصر کی نماز ) نہیں پڑھنے دی جب تک کہ سورج غروب ہو گیا اور یہ عصر کی نماز تھی۔

Narrated `Ali bin Abi Talib: We were in the company of the Prophet on the day (of the battle) of Al-Khandaq (the Trench). The Prophet said, May Allah fill their (the infidels') graves and houses with fire, as they have kept us so busy that we could not offer the middle prayer till the sun had set; and that prayer was the `Asr prayer.
