صحیح بخاری

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جو یہ فرمایا ہے کہ اگر میں اس امت کے کسی آدمی کو خلیل بناتا تو ان کو ( ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کو ) کو خلیل بناتا، لیکن اسلام کا تعلق ہی سب سے بہتر ہے تو اس میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دادا کو باپ کے درجہ میں رکھا ہے۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The person about whom Allah's Apostle said, If I were to take a Khalil from this nation (my followers), then I would have taken him (i.e., Abu Bakr), but the Islamic Brotherhood is better (or said: good), regarded a grandfather as the father himself (in inheritance).
