صحیح بخاری

ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے۔ مؤذن نے اذان دینی چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ٹھنڈا ہونے دے۔ پھر مؤذن نے اذان دینی چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پھر یہی فرمایا کہ ٹھنڈا ہونے دے۔ یہاں تک کہ سایہ ٹیلوں کے برابر ہو گیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ گرمی کی شدت دوزخ کی بھاپ سے پیدا ہوتی ہے۔

Narrated Abu Dhar: We were in the company of the Prophet on a journey and the Mu'adh-dhin wanted to pronounce the Adhan for the (Zuhr) prayer. The Prophet said to him, Let it become cooler. Then he again wanted to pronounce the Adhan but the Prophet; said to him, Let it become cooler. The Mu'adh-dhin again wanted to pronounce the Adhan for the prayer but the Prophet said, Let it become cooler, till the shadows of the hillocks become equal to their sizes. The Prophet added, The severity of the heat is from the raging of Hell.

دو شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں آئے یہ کسی سفر میں جانے والے تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ دیکھو جب تم سفر میں نکلو تو ( نماز کے وقت راستے میں ) اذان دینا پھر اقامت کہنا، پھر جو شخص تم میں عمر میں بڑا ہو نماز پڑھائے۔

Narrated Malik bin Huwairith: Two men came to the Prophet with the intention of a journey. The Prophet said, When (both of) you set out, pronounce Adhan and then Iqama and the oldest of you should lead the prayer.

ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت اقدس میں حاضر ہوئے۔ ہم سب ہم عمر اور نوجوان ہی تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت مبارک میں ہمارا بیس دن و رات قیام رہا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بڑے ہی رحم دل اور ملنسار تھے۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دیکھا کہ ہمیں اپنے وطن واپس جانے کا شوق ہے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا کہ تم لوگ اپنے گھر کسے چھوڑ کر آئے ہو۔ ہم نے بتایا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اچھا اب تم اپنے گھر جاؤ اور ان گھر والوں کے ساتھ رہو اور انہیں بھی دین سکھاؤ اور دین کی باتوں پر عمل کرنے کا حکم کرو۔ مالک نے بہت سی چیزوں کا ذکر کیا جن کے متعلق ابوایوب نے کہا کہ ابوقلابہ نے یوں کہا وہ باتیں مجھ کو یاد ہیں یا یوں کہا مجھ کو یاد نہیں۔ اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اسی طرح نماز پڑھنا جیسے تم نے مجھے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اور جب نماز کا وقت آ جائے تو کوئی ایک اذان دے اور جو تم میں سب سے بڑا ہو وہ نماز پڑھائے۔

Narrated Malik: We came to the Prophet and stayed with him for twenty days and nights. We were all young and of about the same age. The Prophet was very kind and merciful. When he realized our longing for our families, he asked about our homes and the people there and we told him. Then he asked us to go back to our families and stay with them and teach them (the religion) and to order them to do good things. He also mentioned some other things which I have (remembered or [??] ) forgotten. The Prophet then added, Pray as you have seen me praying and when it is the time for the prayer one of you should pronounce the Adhan and the oldest of you should lead the prayer.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک سرد رات میں مقام ضجنان پر اذان دی پھر فرمایا «ألا صلوا في الرحال‏» کہ لوگو! اپنے اپنے ٹھکانوں میں نماز پڑھ لو اور ہمیں آپ نے بتلایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مؤذن سے اذان کے لیے فرماتے اور یہ بھی فرماتے کہ مؤذن اذان کے بعد کہہ دے کہ لوگو! اپنے ٹھکانوں میں نماز پڑھ لو۔ یہ حکم سفر کی حالت میں یا سردی یا برسات کی راتوں میں تھا۔

Narrated Nafi`: Once in a cold night, Ibn `Umar pronounced the Adhan for the prayer at Dajnan (the name of a mountain) and then said, Pray at your homes , and informed us that Allah's Apostle used to tell the Mu'adh-dhin to pronounce Adhan and say, Pray at your homes at the end of the Adhan on a rainy or a very cold night during the journey.

میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ابطح میں دیکھا کہ بلال حاضر ہوئے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نماز کی خبر دی پھر بلال رضی اللہ عنہ برچھی لے کر آگے بڑھے اور اسے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے ( بطور سترہ ) مقام ابطح میں گاڑ دیا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( اس کو سترہ بنا کر ) نماز پڑھائی۔

Narrated `Aun bin Abi Juhaifa: My father said, I saw Allah's Apostle at a place called Al-Abtah. Bilal came and informed him about the prayer and then came out with a short spear (or stick) and planted it in front of Allah's Apostle at Al-Abtah and pronounced the Iqama.
