صحیح بخاری

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ظہر کی پہلی رکعت میں ( قرآت ) طویل کرتے تھے اور دوسری رکعت میں مختصر۔ صبح کی نماز میں بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔

Narrated `Abdullah bin Abi Qatada: My father said, The Prophet used to prolong the first rak`a of the Zuhr prayer and shorten the second one and used to do the same in the Fajr prayer.
