صحیح بخاری

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سات اعضاء پر سجدہ کا حکم دیا گیا، اس طرح کہ نہ بالوں کو اپنے سمیٹتے نہ کپڑے کو ( وہ سات اعضاء یہ ہیں ) پیشانی ( مع ناک ) دونوں ہاتھ، دونوں گھٹنے اور دونوں پاؤں۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet was ordered (by Allah) to prostrate on seven parts and not to tuck up the clothes or hair (while praying). Those parts are: the forehead (along with the tip of nose), both hands, both knees, and (toes of) both feet.

آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہمیں سات اعضاء پر اس طرح سجدہ کا حکم ہوا ہے کہ ہم نہ بال سمیٹیں نہ کپڑے۔

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, We have been ordered to prostrates on seven bones and not to tuck up the clothes or hair.

ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی اقتداء میں نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ جب آپ «سمع الله لمن حمده‏» کہتے ( یعنی رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے ) تو ہم میں سے کوئی اس وقت تک اپنی پیٹھ نہ جھکاتا جب تک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی پیشانی زمین پر نہ رکھ دیتے۔

Narrated Al-Bara' bin `Azib: (He was not a liar) We used to pray behind the Prophet and when he said, Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah , none of us would bend his back (to go for prostration) till the Prophet had placed his, forehead on the ground.
