سنن ابن ماجہ

ان سے پوچھا گیا: عرفات سے لوٹتے وقت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کیسے چلتے تھے؟ کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم«عنق» کی چال ( تیز چال ) چلتے، اور جب خالی جگہ پاتے تو «نص» کرتے یعنی دوڑتے۔ وکیع کہتے ہیں کہ «عنق» سے زیادہ تیز چال کو «نص» کہتے ہیں۔

It was narrated from Usamah bin Zaid that he was asked: “How did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) travel when he departed from ‘Arafat?” He said: “He moved at a quick pace, and when he reached an open space he would make his camel run.”

ہم بیت اللہ کے رہنے والے ہیں، حرم کے باہر نہیں جاتے ۱؎، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت کریمہ: «ثم أفيضوا من حيث أفاض الناس» پھر تم بھی وہیں سے لوٹو جہاں سے اور لوگ لوٹتے ہیں ( یعنی عرفات سے ) اتاری۔

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Quraish said: ‘We are the neighbors of the House and we do not leave the sanctuary.’ Allah said: ‘Then depart from the place whence all the people depart.’” [2:199]
