سنن ابن ماجہ

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص کو ( قربانی کی ) وسعت ہو اور وہ قربانی نہ کرے، تو وہ ہماری عید گاہ کے قریب نہ پھٹکے ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever can afford it, but does not offer a sacrifice, let him not come near our prayer place.”

میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا: کیا قربانی واجب ہے؟ تو جواب دیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قربانی کی ہے، اور آپ کے بعد مسلمانوں نے کی ہے، اور یہ سنت جاری ہے۔

It was narrated that Muhammad bin Sirin said: “I asked Ibn ‘Umar about sacrifices and whether they are obligatory. He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the Muslims after him offered sacrifices, and this is the Sunnah.’”

ہم لوگ عرفہ کے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس کھڑے تھے کہ اسی دوران آپ نے فرمایا: لوگو! ہر گھر والوں پر ہر سال ایک قربانی ۱؎ اور ایک «عتیرہ» ہے ، تم جانتے ہو کہ «عتیرہ» کیا ہے؟ یہ وہی ہے جسے لوگ «رجبیہ» کہتے ہیں ۔

t was narrated that Mikhnaf bin Sulaim said: “We were standing with the Prophet (ﷺ) at ‘Arafat and he said: ‘O people, each family, each year, must offer Udhiyah and ‘Atirah.’
